The Ryde Rally for 2016 will be a little different this year as we will be there for the Mardi-Graz festival and parade on Saturday, and The Summer Music Festival on Sunday. It will be a very busy weekend with lots to do.

For anyone that has not been before, Ryde is a drying harbour with the boats sitting on the sand/mud and the pontoons go down with the boats, so you have access to your boat all the time. Access into the harbour is about two hours either side of high water.

The Mardi-Graz parade will pass along the water front adjacent to the harbour and the Music Festival is in Vernon Square about 200 metres away.
We will endeavor to organise a meal out on the Saturday evening as last year, but we are unable to make firm bookings because we are so weather dependent. Also because of the busy weekend we may not be able to get a group booking at short notice. However there are many good eating places within 10 minutes walk.
If the weather is kind we will be having a breakfast BBQ on the sea wall on Sunday Morning from about 09.00 hrs, followed by a Boules competition on the beech at about 11.00 hrs
Please let me know if you are planning to attend even if you cancel at last minute due to weather. It just helps us organise things, otherwise just turn up on the day and fill your boots with fun.
