Seals,

The long range forecast predicts settled weather for our Proms weekend when we'll head to Wootton Creek, Isle of Wight. It's a great chance to get afloat to compensate for lost opportunities in this year of less than perfect weather. You can also re-use your Olympic regalia!

http://www.rvyc.org.uk/and  you will see that a) they look forward to welcoming our rally and b) activities start at 7pm. The Royal Victoria is very friendly and well appointed. With high water around 4pm on Saturday, the timing could not be better.

http://www.parkerseal.or...events/2012/wootton.aspx . This helps the club plan catering.

If you plan to travel by ferry, you can get great prices by getting a group ticket. For this you need ten people to take the same sailing. The good thing is that you can walk in, buy the group ticket and go straight away and the return time is flexible. If you plan to attend by ferry, reply to this note here in the forum and we can link you up with others.

Looking forward to seeing you in Wootton,
Ken, Sue, Kate, Paul - Vol-au-vent P275
