Mid Week Rally – Mon 20th June, Littlehampton

This follows the weekend rally in Chichester Harbour for those who have time to go further. We will be ideally placed for the onward passage from there to Littlehampton and plan to take the east going tide on Monday morning. If we take the short cut through the Looe Channel past Selsey Bill and arrive at the harbour entrance by about 2pm there will still be an hour of flood tide left into the river Arun.

The Arun Yacht Club on the west bank will try and accommodate us on their pontoons, or there are deeper visitors moorings at the town quay opposite. The club has kindly offered us the use of their facilities although they do not do meals on Monday evenings, but I will find somewhere else to eat.

If you are brave enough to leave the shelter of the Solent for the flesh pots of Littlehampton, please let me know in advance so that I can arrange berthing and dining.
